Scrabble anyone?

Ok so I think I have a serious Pinterest addiction. There I said it... Although it is helping my house look better lol. While Browsing around on Pinterest I came across this awesome idea to make scrabble family art from Remodelaholic (seriously awesome blog BTW) So I thought I would make some myself. I followed there instructions only I used 3 1/2in X 1/4in X 4ft because I didn't want them to be very thick and just cut them square.
Then I ordered the Vinyl from Vinyl Lettering (also a very cool site) They were very nice and easy to work with.
Looks pretty good in the front entry way. Yes I know I need to do something else to make the entry way more inviting (lol) But that will take some searching on Craigslist for the right pieces. I have some ideas pinned on Pinterest ;-)

What's for dinner?

***UPDATE***
I added some vinyl lettering to it and I have to say it makes a HUGE difference! Thanks to VinylLettering for helping me out!
I'm so tired of getting asked "What's for dinner?" So I decided to do something about it. Ive seen so many people makes such cute menus out of picture frames and thought I would do the same. Well I had this cute white collage frame that I couldn't figure out what to do with for months (bought it on clearance at Walmart after black Friday last year) Well I thought it would be perfect for this! 8 photo spots and 7 days in the week so, one left for suggestions. I spray painted it black and added scrapbooking paper under the glass for more POP. I was going to put the busy paper in all of them but my niece said it would look better like this and I have to agree.
I have it on my pantry door so it can't be overlooked
I also like that it's just the right size (not too big and not too small)

I also added a white dry erase marker on top (white so that it doesn't stand out against the white door)
There ya go a pretty menu board for around $10

Art on the walls

A few days ago I ran across these awesome ideas Art & diy-kids-art-display on Pinterest and knew I HAD to get those wonderful pictures off my fridge and onto the wall! I think it turned out great don't you?
I wanted to combine the two ideas, and make it like a pin board (like Pinterest lol) So instead of using a cork board I put burlap cardboard, because I couldn't find any cork board thick enough to hold a pin. It works beautifully!
If you would like to get the decal head over to Vinyl Lettering  They can work with you and make What you would like
