Halloween Costume!

As many of you know I hate to wait on things for holidays I have to have everything all planned out. If not I stress out completely. So not to anyone's surprise I just got finished with Ella's Halloween costume! She's going to be a Zebra Princess!
So sweet huh! I made the hat a couple weeks ago and decided that I loved it so much I wanted her to wear it for Halloween but I didn't know how to make it a costume until I got to looking at some very sweet tutu dresses on Pinterest. I just had to make one for her. Then it hit me, Zebra dress! Voila! a costume was born! Hope you like it :)

Flowers!

I had a mom friend on FB that is due in a couple more weeks and had this pattern that she bought but wasn't able to get around to making it herself so she recruited me :)
It's a wonderful pattern that works up SUPER quick and easy. Little Owl Creation is a great little shop
with some great patterns!

This is the one I made for the new mommy in the newborn size. My babies not a new born any more so I don't have anyone to try it on so I can show you but hopefully she'll let me post a pic after her princess gets here
Of course I couldn't make just one!!! My lil' butterfly needed one too!
Isn't she so stinkin cute?! I see a flower pot in her future!!

Boobie scarf!

I saw something like this on the web while browsing one day and posted it on Facebook asking if anyone would actually buy one, UMMM yep there are plenty of people out there wanting a boobie scarf and I'm happy to make them one :) This was one order I got for 7!!! She wanted them to have tie dyed nipples and tassels. OK easy enough. And this was the end product
I still can get over how funny they are :) Think I might sell the pattern though I couldn't find one that worked for this any where

Scrabble anyone?

Ok so I think I have a serious Pinterest addiction. There I said it... Although it is helping my house look better lol. While Browsing around on Pinterest I came across this awesome idea to make scrabble family art from Remodelaholic (seriously awesome blog BTW) So I thought I would make some myself. I followed there instructions only I used 3 1/2in X 1/4in X 4ft because I didn't want them to be very thick and just cut them square.
Then I ordered the Vinyl from Vinyl Lettering (also a very cool site) They were very nice and easy to work with.
Looks pretty good in the front entry way. Yes I know I need to do something else to make the entry way more inviting (lol) But that will take some searching on Craigslist for the right pieces. I have some ideas pinned on Pinterest ;-)

What's for dinner?

***UPDATE***
I added some vinyl lettering to it and I have to say it makes a HUGE difference! Thanks to VinylLettering for helping me out!
I'm so tired of getting asked "What's for dinner?" So I decided to do something about it. Ive seen so many people makes such cute menus out of picture frames and thought I would do the same. Well I had this cute white collage frame that I couldn't figure out what to do with for months (bought it on clearance at Walmart after black Friday last year) Well I thought it would be perfect for this! 8 photo spots and 7 days in the week so, one left for suggestions. I spray painted it black and added scrapbooking paper under the glass for more POP. I was going to put the busy paper in all of them but my niece said it would look better like this and I have to agree.
I have it on my pantry door so it can't be overlooked
I also like that it's just the right size (not too big and not too small)

I also added a white dry erase marker on top (white so that it doesn't stand out against the white door)
There ya go a pretty menu board for around $10

Art on the walls

A few days ago I ran across these awesome ideas Art & diy-kids-art-display on Pinterest and knew I HAD to get those wonderful pictures off my fridge and onto the wall! I think it turned out great don't you?
I wanted to combine the two ideas, and make it like a pin board (like Pinterest lol) So instead of using a cork board I put burlap cardboard, because I couldn't find any cork board thick enough to hold a pin. It works beautifully!
If you would like to get the decal head over to Vinyl Lettering  They can work with you and make What you would like

Positioning pillow

Ok since I had my little one I have had issues like this. Though she looks happy she also looks uncomfortable. So I set out to fix it and this is what I came up with.
